Call: Somaliland Food and Water Crisis (19-002-SO)

Food security and water crisis: Consecutive below average rainfall have during the last four years built up to the current humanitarian crisis facing the drought-affected communities across Somaliland. The coping capacity of these communities has reached a minimum having depleted household resources over the last years of drought as well as being affected by insecurity, floods and hosting of internally displaced persons (IDPs), and being able to cope with the current drought.
