Deadline: Applications are received and processed from 11.09.2020 until 1.10.2020 at 23:59. Funds allocated: A total of DKK 2.000.000 for the call with a ceiling of DKK 750.000 per application.
IAS have submitted an alert on the floods in Sudan. The DERF was activated to the alerted crisis. Torrential rains have caused flooding in Khartoum State destroying and damaging more than 500 homes, displacing people and creating new humanitarian needs. The situation is expected to get worse over the coming weeks, as above-average rains are forecast until the end of September.
South Sudan's recent violence splits thousands of families apart - forcing children, young persons, persons with disabilities, pregnant and lactating women as well as elders to flee their homes in search of safety.
