The DERF continues to be managed by CISU in collaboration with Save the Children

CISU in collaboration with Save the Children Denmark has won the tender process about the continuous management of the Danish Emergency Relief Fund (DERF).

The contract is not yet signed, but the so-called stand-still period where other tenderers may come with objections has already passed, says Christoph Lodemann, Fund Manager of the DERF. The DERF team will now start to re-design the DERF as proposed in the tender material. This will include a new funding modality and a number of improvements for the users of the DERF.

A specific start-date for the DERF 2 is not yet agreed on, but it is likely to be on the other side of the summer holidays. We understand the inconvenience the delay is causing but are not in a position to change this.
