The DERF is again open to receive alerts and applications

The DERF continues to support civil society organisations working in humanitarian contexts. The four-year DERF agreement between the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the consortium partners of CISU and Save the Children Denmark will be extended. Fund manager Christoph Lodemann explains, that the extension is based on the condition that the Financial Bill for 2025 is approved. This means that the DERF can continue until the end of 2028. Therefor Christoph Lodemann is delighted that the DERF now is open again for receiving applications and alerts.

The world is experiencing a large number of conflicts and natural disasters. Civil Society actors play an important role in providing humanitarian assistance, says Jeef Bech, CEO of CISU, and continues that the DERF is a very important funding opportunity for vulnerable groups of people affected by humanitarian crises.
